Vending Advisory

Please note that the Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk is not affiliated, nor associated, or in any way officially connected with any street vending or food truck/vendor lots, or any of their affiliates, associates, agents, or contracting parties, and that we do not authorize, encourage or endorse these practices.

As such, vendors setting up on the street do so at their own risk, as do vendors setting up in food truck/vendor lots.

Be aware that the sidewalks are city-owned and operated, and that in certain cases, vendors may be made to move by property owners or city authorities, and/or may be subject to fines.

We urge vendors to use caution when paying for spaces, to verify that the vending location is legal, and to question whether operators have a right to charge for space on public property.

We also urge consumers to use discernment when buying from vendors and ask questions as to the provenance and authenticity of artworks, crafts, or products, as we cannot vouch for any items offered.

Finally, we encourage visitors to patronize the galleriesartist studios, and cultural institutions of the Historic Core as these spaces form the community that has invested greatly to provide free cultural programming to the public during the monthly Art Walk for more than 15 years.

Maps of our participating spaces, courtesy of the LA Times, may be obtained in any of the area galleries, or by visiting the Gloria Delson Contemporary Arts  at 727 S. Spring St.
